About the Author

Hi, there!

I'm CJ, or Chelsie, or Chels, or Saint - as we say in Norwegian: a loved child has many names. 
If I were to describe myself, I would say I'm the poster child for indoor cats. I like my own company, fluffy blankets, silence and strong coffees. 

As a child, I spent a lot of time in and out of hospital, and fantasy books became a refuge that I still, to this day, seek escape in. The worlds created, the magic systems, all the different species of magical beings and magical societies - it's hard not to fall in love with it all, right? 

The Crone of White Flame series came to be as a way for me to escape a difficult time in my life. When the noise from the surrounding world gave me nightmares, I used them to make the demons of my stories, and the people that helped me get through it all became the warriors saving the realms of which I was adamant to destroy. 

The Crone of White Flame started the journey, but this little indie author has so much more planned, so stay tuned!
